Elliot Yokum

Elliot Yokum is a sound designer and composer. Elliot is currently a design consultant at 59E59 Theaters. Theater credits include: Cries and Whispers (CalArts CNP/Korean Arts Council), YOU OWE ME YOUR BONES (Edinburgh Fringe - postponed), Pass: The Musical (Hollywood Fringe - postponed), Machinal (CalArts), Much Ado About Nothing (CalArts), and The Mousetrap (Scotch'n'Soda Theatre). VR credits include: To Remember a Friend (CalArts) and Frankenstein (The Frankenstein Complex/Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center). Elliot's music has been performed and recorded by Hartford Opera Theater, Compos-It Opera Company, Oklahoma State University Symphony Orchestra, Carpe Diem String Quartet, and the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic. Elliot holds an MFA in Sound Design from the CalArts School of Theater, where they studied with Jon Gottlieb, and a BFA in Music Composition from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music, where they studied with Nancy Galbraith.
