Macy E Kunke is a Stage Manager who is deeply passionate about theatre education, grassroots activism, and the climate crisis. She is a native-born Texan who fell into theatre on accident and hasn't left since. She is a firm believer that change and the arts are intertwined and inseparable: one can not exist without the other. Macy has a BFA in Technical Theatre at Stephen's College in Columbia, Missouri (go Stars!) and is a current MFA Stage Management candidate at the California Institute for the Arts. Recent CalArts credits include Men on Boats, daughter, and Scene with Cranes at the Center for New Performance. Outside of CalArts, Macy was the Production Stage Manager at Peach State Summer Theatre, and will be joining the stage management team at the Rev Theatre Company this summer. Macy loves Pokémon, her family, and collecting new plants that she does not have room for.
