I am a technical director and fabricator working across theater, installation, and sculpture. I focus on building physical systems and structures that can be produced, installed, and used in real conditions. My background is in theater production, where work needs to be resolved through construction, coordination, and execution. I approach projects by figuring out how they can actually be built, what materials and methods make sense, and how to move from design to a finished result. I am most interested in problem-solving and troubleshooting. I tend to take on projects that are technically challenging or not fully resolved, and I am drawn to situations where something needs to be figured out rather than followed. I enjoy working through constraints, testing solutions, and building things that are not straightforward to execute. I work with CNC machining, 3D printing, and standard shop fabrication processes. These methods are part of how the work takes shape. I tend to keep structures and connections visible, allowing the construction to remain part of the final piece. Recent work includes technical direction for productions at the Walt Disney Modular Theater at CalArts, including Half God of Rainfall, Volver, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Love and Information, as well as installation work such as What to Wear at BAM Harvey Theater.
