Yuwei Hu is a costume and fashion designer who envisions garments as occupiable spaces. Her recent work includes costume design for Here Be Sirens at CalArts ROD Theater, The Water Station at CalArts MOD Theater, Visit, Gungnir, Love Renaissance with 88 RISING, Every Brilliant Thing at CalArts Coffee House Theater, and Cries and Whispers for CalArts Center for New Performance in partnership with the Arts Council of Korea. She received her MFA in Costume Design at California Institute of the Arts School of Theater, and her BFA in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Fashion.
