Keely Cobb is a multi-faceted producer and choreographer based in Los Angeles, passionate about creating platforms for emerging artists through collaborative, interdisciplinary work rooted in theatrical storytelling and contemporary movement. With a deep commitment to blending artistic mediums—music, dance, theater, design, and technology—she fosters spaces that amplify new voices and drive cross-genre innovation.    Cobb is currently pursuing an MFA in Producing at the California Institute of the Arts. She serves as Creative Producer for MashUp Contemporary Dance Company and as Production & Company Coordinator for the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival's 2025 season. Her producing work centers on eliminating financial barriers for artists while cultivating equitable, artist-first environments where creativity can thrive.    After earning her degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, Cobb witnessed how performers were often exploited by so-called "professional" companies that charged artists to perform. In response, she founded Around the Stage | Theatrical Dance Company in 2018—nominated Reno’s Best Dance Company in 2023—to ensure dancers, designers, and technicians were compensated for their work. Today, she remains committed to building inclusive, supportive platforms that highlight and uplift emerging talent.    Cobb has also collaborated with and worked for organizations such as the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, Reno is Artown, Sierra Arts Foundation, Good Luck Macbeth Theater Company, and The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts to champion meaningful professional opportunities for local artists.
