Park Lytle has been producing theatrical works and live events for the past five years with over fifteen credits to his name. As a producer, Park has developed a specialty for maximizing micro-budget productions often below $5,000, and giving them life and shape from the early development phases to their live debut. Park is the Lead Producer of Shackleton Theatrics, a production company focused on developing new works that capture “The Spirit of Adventure,” which he defines as a piece consisting of a colorful world and fast-paced narrative that ultimately culminates in a deep emotional catharsis. Using this principle, Park continues to seek and generate new works and forgotten classics in hopes of creating engaging and accessible works of theatre for diverse and artistically hungry audiences across all of Los Angeles County. As a playwright, Park Lytle focuses on creating stories that tap into his deeper vulnerabilities and beliefs. Park writes narrative-focused adventures that appeal to younger audiences in nature but refuse to alienate anyone from a memorable experience. His works include Jimmy Jenkenheimer: Adventure Super Master and Emily Sombra in the Land of Phobos, both of which debuted in Los Angeles to sold out audiences for their limited runs. Park continues to find color and excitement by tapping into ideas connected to finding identity, balancing independence with codependence, and rising against injustice.
