Anousha Baqai is a creative producer and experience designer based in Southern California, currently pursuing a BFA in Experience Design & Production at CalArts. Her work explores the intersection of creative development and project delivery, with a focus on shaping large-scale, multidisciplinary experiences from early concept through execution. She is an incoming Project Controls Planning Intern with Walt Disney Imagineering, where she will support the planning and realization of complex projects through scheduling, cost management, and cross-team coordination. This role reflects her broader interest in understanding how themed environments evolve from initial ideas into fully realized, operational experiences. Anousha currently serves as Creative Producer and Co-Director on a Reimagine Well project, where she leads the development of an interactive experience designed for pediatric healthcare environments. Her work spans concept ideation, prototyping, and national presentation, emphasizing both creative storytelling and practical implementation. Additionally, she has contributed to live productions as a Production Manager, Scenic Designer, and Illusions Designer, collaborating across scenic, lighting, and props teams to support cohesive execution. Her strengths lie in structuring creative workflows, translating conceptual ideas into buildable solutions, and coordinating across disciplines to ensure alignment in scope, schedule, and delivery. She approaches design with both artistic intention and logistical clarity, bridging the gap between vision and production. Anousha is particularly drawn to themed entertainment and live spectacle, with a long-term focus on show producing and project management for parades, nighttime spectaculars, and large-scale international experiences.
