Ember Streshinsky is a scenic designer and MFA candidate at California Institute of the Arts. She received her BFA in Theater Design and Production from the University of Michigan. Ember is one of the youngest-ever recipients of the Robert L.B. Tobin Director-Designer Prize for her scenic design of Salome. Other recent design credits include Herakles with CalArts and Eliogabalo with West Edge Opera. Recent assistant designer credits include Roberto Zucco and I Want a Country with CalArts. This summer Ember will be working with Glimmerglass Opera as a scenic design apprentice.
