Elly Golterman is an MFA3 Interschool student at CalArts, studying production design for theater and film directing. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she earned a BFA in art education from the University of Arkansas. Since 2016, she has lived in Los Angeles, working as an educator, artist, designer, and filmmaker. Recent design projects include The Misanthrope directed by Cora Badey, The Master and Margarita, directed by Cora Badey, Light as a Feather, choreographed by Alve Fu, and The Dictator, directed by Hunter Abal-Sadeq. Her recent short films include The Firework and the Star and The Electrician. Elly is now working on her thesis for the film school, titled The Most Incredible Thing.
