Kelly Lin Hayes is a multidisciplinary artist, and she knows you rolled your eyes when you read that. Kelly is in her first year of the MFA program and she has worked in various different jobs with many different projects. She’s designed a board game, wrote a play, had a reading for that play, worked on prop design in work study and separately in "Avielle's Guide to Love and Lust” in the Coffeehouse Theatre, and she designed puppets! Ultimately, Kelly likes to do a lot of everything. She believes in the multi-disciplinary artistry of Calarts, and is constantly inspired by all of the work done within this building. A philosophy she hopes to take with her post-grad school and beyond. Below are some selected credits outside of Calarts: Her design work has been seen most recently in UARTS productions of “Burial at Thebes” and “Cabaret” She has also done multiple digital designs and her plays and design work have been done at Yale Cabaret, La Mama and Matchbox Theatre Company.
